NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.

Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim pieces.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
1. Remove these items:

Front seats, both sides See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation

Front door sill trim, both sides See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Front Door Sill Area

Rear door sill trim, both sides See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Door Sill Area

2. Remove the bolts, then remove the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor mounting bracket (A). Detach the harness clips (C), and remove the ground
bolt (D) with a TORX T30 bit. Disconnect the SRS unit connector B.
