8. Release the hook (A) that is just under the arrow mark (B) on the floor mat holder (C) by prying up on the holder with a flat-tip screwdriver, and
remove the holder through the slit (D) in the carpet (E).
9. Install the front carpet in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Take care not to damage, wrinkle, or twist the carpet.

If the clips fastening the carpet to the floor are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

Push the clips into place securely.
