Headliner Removal/Installation

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014*

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to bend or scratch the headliner.
-
Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Remove the front seat head restraints, and hold down the rear seat head restraints. Slide both the front seats all the way back, and fully recline the
seat-back.
2. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Testing and Inspection then wait at least 3 minutes before
beginning work.
3. Remove these items:

Front door opening seal, as needed See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Front Door Sill Area

A-pillar trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - A-Pillar Trim
-
Rear individual map light See: Lighting and Horns/Map Light/Service and Repair
-
Rear door opening seal, as needed See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Door Sill Area
-
Front door sill trim See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Front Door Sill Area
-
Rear door sill trim See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Door Sill Area
-
B-pillar lower trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - B-Pillar Upper/Lower Trim

4. Remove the roof console (A).
