TL FWD V6-3.5L (2009)
3. Connect the parking brake cable end (A) to the parking brake lever assembly (B), and install the parking brake lever assembly.
4. Reinstall the lower return spring (A).
5. Clean the threaded portions of the clevis pin A, and coat the threads of the clevis pin A with grease. Clean the sliding surface of the clevis pin B,
and coat the sliding surface of the clevis pin B with grease. Install the clevis pin A and B on the adjuster (C) and shorten the clevis pin A by
turning the adjuster.
6. Position the brake shoe adjuster assembly (D) on the parking brake shoes.
7. Reinstall the upper return spring (E).
8. Install the rear brake disc/drum and the rear brake caliper. See: Disc Brake System/Brake Rotor/Disc/Service and Repair/Rear Brake Disc
Replacement
9. Do the major parking brake adjustment. See: Adjustments
10. Clean the mating surfaces between the brake disc/drum and the inside of the wheel, then install the rear wheels.
