Radiator Replacement
Radiator Replacement
1. Drain the engine coolant See: Coolant/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the bulkhead cover See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement.
3. Do the battery removal procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.
4. Remove the battery base See: Engine/Service and Repair/Engine Removal.
5. Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud assembly. See: Radiator and A/C Condenser Fan, Motor, and Shroud Removal and Installation.
6. Remove the radiator fan shroud assembly See: Radiator and A/C Condenser Fan, Motor, and Shroud Removal and Installation.
7. Disconnect the lower radiator hose (A).
8. Remove the power steering (P/S) hose clamp (B).
9. Disconnect the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) cooler hoses (C) from the transmission, then plug the ATF cooler hoses and the lines.
10. Disconnect the ATF cooler hoses (A), then plug the ATF cooler hoses and the lines.
11. Remove the radiator upper brackets (A), then pull up the radiator (B).
