Front Passenger's Airbag Replacement
NOTE: If replacing the front passenger's airbag after deployment, refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment See: Service and
Repair for a complete list of other parts that must also be replaced.
Removal
1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures, then wait at least 3minutes
before starting work.
2. Remove the glove box See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Glove Compartment/Service and Repair/Glove Box Removal/Installation.
3. Remove the screw, then remove the passenger's dashboard ducts (A).
4. Detach the harness clips. Pull down the wire harness, then disconnect the front passenger's airbag inflator 4P connector (A) on the dashboard wire
harness.
5. Remove the mounting nuts (A) and the mounting bolts (B) from the front passenger's airbag (C).
