8. Install the steering wheel bolt (A), and tighten it to the specified torque, then connect the cable reel connector C (20P) (B).
9. Install the driver's airbag See: Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Driver's Airbag Replacement.
10. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures.
11. Clear any DTCs with the HDS See: Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
12. After installing the cable reel, confirm proper system operation:

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator comes on for
about 6 seconds and then goes off.

Make sure the horn and turn signal switches work properly.

Make sure the steering wheel switches work properly.
13. After installation, check the steering wheel spoke angle. If the steering spoke angles to the right and left are not equal (steering wheel is not
centered), correct the engagement of the wheel/column shaft splines.
