THE ENGINE STUMBLES TEST I

I4CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE AND EARTH CABLESOK
NOT OK		Proceed to phase I5
Replace the high voltage or earth cables. Correctly tighten the earth braids
- Check:
  • that the high voltage cables (from the ignition coils to the spark plugs) are not damaged
  • that there is no electrical resistance preventing dissipation
  • that the earth braids are correctly tightened and are not oxidized
I5 CHECK ACCELERATOR CABLE
OK

NOT OK
Proceed to phase I6
Adjust the cable
- Check that the accelerator cable runs freely and check play - see GROUP 04 - ACCELERATOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT
I6 CHECK CONTROL UNIT
NOT OK
Replace the control unit
End of test I
