During normal steering, the steering stiffens either to the right or to the left.

0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS Carry out a test, steering on full lock in various conditions to check whether the stiffness arises in one direction only Visually inspect the power assisted steering fluid level in the reservoir	OK	Move onto step 1

		Power assisted steering fluid level too low	Restore the correct level, if there are leaks, Move onto step (see X30)
