ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE WARNING LIGHT NOT WORKING

1.8, 1.9 JTS, 2.2 JTS, 3.2 JTS

With the ignition ON, the engine oil temperature warning light in the additional instrument panel is not working;

the engine oil temperature faulty signal is made available to the instrument panel and, via a serial line, to the gauge.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic socket, check the operation of the warning light through active diagnosis	Move on to Step 4	1.The warning light does not come on for the serial line with the NQS interrupted	1.Renew serial line
			2.Instrument panel defective	2.Restore power supply
			3.Instrument power supply interrupted	3.Replace additional instrument panel Op. 5560C51 COMBINED ANALOGUE CONTROL PANEL - R+R OR REPLACE

	Check the continuity/insulation of the lead between oil temperature sensor and the instrument panel See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT	Move on to Step 5	1.Cable interrupted/not insulated	1.Restore continuity/insulation of the cable.
		Move on to Step 5	2.Oil temperature sensor defective	2.Replace oil temperature sensor Op. 1084A46 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENDER UNIT - R + R
