NUMBER PLATE LIGHTS NOT WORKING

the number plate lights are switched on separately (RH and LH) by the Body Computer Node when the Side Lights on or Parking Lights (four lights) on signals are received.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node: - that there are no faults	Move on to Step 3	No. plate lights short circuitd to earth or open circuit	Move on to Step 2
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Also check the condition of the affected RH or LH bulb - Check the continuity and insulation of the wiring between the connections on the Body Computer and the number plate light connector or the affected RH or LH wiring - Check the continuity and efficiency of the number plate light earth - Check that the number plate light bulb internal circuit is intact See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS	Move on to Step 3	Bulbs inefficient	Replace the bulbs or bulb
			Connection between Body computer and number plate light connector O.C. or S.C.	Restore the electrical connection See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS
			Earth interrupted or inefficient	Restore the electrical connection See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS
			Connection with open circuit or short circuit	Replace the light Op. 5540A94 (ONE) NUMBER PLATE LIGHT - R.R.
3	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected, check the operation of the number plate lights in active diagnosis	End of diagnosis	No lights come on.	Replace body computer Op. 5505A32 BODY COMPUTER - R.R
