FRONT DOOR WATER PENETRATION

After rain or washing, water enters the car in the region of one of the front doors

1	CHECKING DOOR DRIP CHANNEL	All OK	Problems met	Operation
		Results of the tests
	Checking the door drip channel In particular, ascertain: absence of dirt, leaves, etc. Corner area is properly fitted (the seal should not cover the air intake hole)	Continue to Step 2	Dirt in the drip channel	Clean the drip channel
		Continue to Step 2	Drip channel incorrectly fitted	Refit the drip channel properly Op. Op. 7055A14 DRIP CHANNELS ON DOOR COMPARTMENT (ONE), L/H OR R/H - R+R
2	DOOR HOUSING SEAL CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the door seal. In particular, ascertain: No wrinkles in the seal; Condition of the seal;	Continue to Step 3	Faulty fitting of seal	Fit the sealing strip correctly Op. Op. 7005A34 FRONT SIDE DOOR COMPARTMENT SEAL R R
3	DOOR ALIGNMENT CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the fitting of the door. In particular, ascertain: Correct alignment of the door housing; Correct adherence of the seal to the door	Continue to Step 4	Door fitting faulty	Refit the door correctly Op. Op. 7005A14 FRONT SIDE DOOR - ADJUST CENTERING AND MOULDING - INCLUDES ADAPTATION OF HINGES AND SEALS ON DOOR COMPARTMENT
4	CHECKING MOVING WINDOW GLASS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the moving glass seal In particular, ascertain: That the glass closes correctly; The glass scraper trim is correctly fitted	Continue to Step 5	Glass incorrectly fitted	Refit the window mechanism and moving glass correctly Op. Op. 7005M21 FRONT SIDE DOOR ELECTRICALLY OPERATED WINDOW - R R
		Continue to Step 5	Glass scraper trim fitting faulty	Refit the glass scraper trim correctly Op. Op. 7005D26 FRONT SIDE DESCENDING WINDOW GLASS SCRAPER (OUTER) R R
5	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis
