Canceling The Electronic Lock-up

If for any reason the Anti-theft coding locks up the radio, for example when the battery is disconnected or the fuse for the radio blows, the word "SAF E"
will be displayed after switching on the radio. The electronic lock up can be canceled by entering the correct code number.

- Switch on the radio. The word "SAF E" is displayed.

- Push and hold the AM/FM BAND SELECTOR and then push and hold the SCAN BUTTON until "1000" appears in the display and then goes

blank.

- Use the STATION BUTTONS 1 through 4 to enter your personal code number (recorded on the Radio-Card?).

- Finally, push and hold the AM/FM BAND SELECTOR and then push and hold the SCAN BUTTON until the word "SAF E" is displayed. After the

buttons are released, the radio station frequency will be displayed and the radio will work again.

- If the word "SAF E" is first blinking, and then stays on a wrong code number was entered.
