Installation of Supplementary Mast Antenna

a.

The installation of an electric mast antenna requires prior zone authorization. Contact your DSM or other designated Zone person, who is
responsible for authorizing the claim, to obtain prior authorization.

b.

Electric mast antennas should be installed only on dual diversity antenna equipped vehicles and only after the customer's consent has been
obtained.

c.

Before installation, verify that poor reception with OEM antenna can be corrected by the installation of a mast antenna by testing reception
with a magnetic mount test.

d.

Claims must be submitted with special part identifier 9184660002. Labor operations should be claimed as stated in Service Circular Number
1/90 dated February 9, 1990.
