Fuel Hoses

Fuel hoses are made of a type of rubber that is resistant to fuels and solvents. Hoses for fuel injection applications may appear the same as standard fuel
hoses but are not. Fuel injection hose is made with much more braided reinforcement built in, to withstand the high pressure of fuel injection systems.
Some vehicles use fuel injection hose with additional braided reinforcement on the outside of the hose. This type hose can be replaced with the more
typical fuel injection hose as pictured in the illustration. Be sure to use hose with the proper inside diameter for the application.

WARNING:Never use standard type fuel hose for fuel injection applications. Standard type hose will burst, creating hazard of personal injury and fire.
