To make manual antenna tamper-proof when not in use:

cut off small rubber grommet (arrow) from upper mast section

antenna mast can now be pushed fully into antenna base and can only be extended by using special key

To extend antenna:

^

insert key into top of antenna tip and rotate key 1/4 turn (90~)

pull key upwards to extend mast

^

remove key from mast and fully extend antenna by hand
