Air Door Cable: Service and Repair

Bowden Cables On A/C Control Head

A/C CONTROL HEAD

A = Cable from air distribution control to flap door for floor/defrost.

- Color = white

B = Cable from air distribution control to main air distribution flap.

- Color = black

D = Cable from temperature control lever to temperature regulation flap.

- Color = red 

Cables

Cable Connections:

If cable retainer breaks, turn cable 90° and attach with screw.

NOTE:  Always replace bent or binding cables.

                        
HEATER/EVAPORATOR BOX

A = Cable from footwell/defrost flap door to air distribution control.

Color = white

B = Cable from central air distribution flap door to air distribution.
