Hydraulic unit with control unit (vehicles with petrol engine)
Hydraulic unit with control unit (vehicles with petrol engine)
  Note
On vehicles with diesel engine the diesel particulate filter must be removed → Chapter.
   
1 - Brake lines
  WARNING
Do not bend the brake lines.
q   Brake lines to hydraulic unit, 14 Nm
2 - Hydraulic unit with ABS control unit -J104-
q   With integral lateral acceleration sender -G200-, yaw rate sender -G202- and longitudinal acceleration sender -G251-
  Caution
The control unit must not be separated from the hydraulic unit.
q   Removing and installing (vehicles with petrol engine) → Chapter
q   Removing and installing (vehicles with 1.4 ltr. TSI engine) → Chapter
q   Removing and installing (vehicles with diesel engine) → Chapter
3 - Brake lines to brake master cylinder
  WARNING
Do not bend the brake lines.
q   Brake lines to hydraulic unit, 14 Nm
4 - Bracket
5 - Nut
q   20 Nm
6 - Nut
q   20 Nm
7 - Rubber buffer
q   Slacken off nuts
8 - Electrical connection to control unit
