Removing and installing brake light switchF
Removing and installing brake light switch -F -
The brake light switch is located on the underside of the brake master cylinder.
Removing
–  Remove air cleaner housing → Rep. gr.23.
   
–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Pull brake light switch -F --3- out of brake master cylinder.
Installing
–  Insert brake light switch -F --3- in brake master cylinder.
  Note
Pay attention to correct installation position. The brake light switch -F - must be seated in the retaining tab on the brake master cylinder.
  N46-10099
–  Screw in bolt -2- and tighten to 7 Nm.
–  Plug in electrical connector -1-.
The brake light switch -F - does not have to be calibrated.
  Caution
Make sure that the brake light switch -F - works properly before the vehicle is driven on the road.
