Removing and installing seal (PR 1ZG)

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removal wedge -3409-
Removing
–  Remove brake piston → Chapter.
  W00-0016
–  Remove seal using removal wedge -3409-.
When removing ensure that the bore of the cylinder is not damaged.
Installing
–  The surfaces and seal should be cleaned using only methylated spirits and then dried.
–  Insert seal.
  Note
Make sure the seal fits all round in the groove in the piston.
–  Install brake piston → Chapter.
