1 - Poly V-belt
q   Check for wear
q   Before removing, mark direction of rotation with chalk or felt-tip pen
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Do not kink
q   When installing, make sure it is properly seated on pulleys
2 - Tensioning roller for poly V-belt
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Coat contact surfaces with lubricating paste; for lubricating paste refer to → Electronic parts catalogue
3 - Vibration damper
q   With poly V-belt pulley
q   Installation position: hole in vibration damper must be positioned over raised section of crankshaft sprocket
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
4 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Item
5 - Dowel sleeve
q   Ensure correct seating in bracket for ancillaries
6 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Rep. gr.23
7 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Item
8 - Idler roller
q   For toothed belt
9 - Bolt
q   Tightening torque → Item
10 - Idler roller
q   For toothed belt
11 - Bracket for ancillaries
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
12 - High-pressure pump
q   Removing and installing → Rep. gr.23
13 - Bolt
q   Different lengths → Fig.
q   Tightening torque and sequence → Fig.
14 - Alternator

q   Ensure correct seating in bracket for ancillaries

Tensioning roller for poly V-belt - tightening torque and tightening sequence
  Note
t  Renew bolt for tensioning roller.
t  Use a brush to coat guide surfaces of tensioning roller with lubricating paste; lubricating paste → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Tighten bolt in 5 stages as follows:
  A13-10796
StageBoltTightening torque/angle specification
1.-arrow-Screw in bolt by hand until it makes contact
l  The poly V-belt is tensioned
2.-arrow-Turn until the pin on the tensioning roller has contacted the stop
l  The poly V-belt is tensioned further
3.-arrow-Loosen by 90°
4.-arrow-30 Nm
5.-arrow-turn 90° further
