General notes

The connection for external audio sources -R199- is available in several versions:

Version with AMI (Audi music interface) is part of control unit 1 for information electronics -J794- (MOST)

The interface -1- is located in the glove box.

Version with AUX IN socket -1- installed in centre console storage compartment (MOST)

These connections for external audio sources -R199- are connected directly to the control unit 1 for information electronics -J794-.

Either an AMI or an AUX IN socket is fitted.

The following external audio sources can be connected to connection for external audio sources -R199-:

iPod

t	MP3 player

USB stick

Appropriate adapter cables are required → Owner's Manual.

Fault finding is performed via the „Guided Fault Finding“ → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
