Removing and installing headlight range control motor V48/V49
Removing and installing headlight range control motor -V48-/-V49-
   
Removing
–  Remove headlight housing → Chapter.
–  Release retaining tab -2- and disengage housing cover -1--arrow-.

–  Remove bolts -1, 4-.
–  Pull reflector towards rear and swivel headlight range control motor -2- upwards -arrow-; this disengages ball head on actuator shaft downwards from ball head mounting.
–  Unplug electrical connector -3-.
Installing
l  Tightening torques → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  When inserting, plug in electrical connector.
–  Pull reflector towards rear and engage ball head on actuator shaft in ball head mounting of reflector.
–  Close housing cover.
–  Install headlight housing → Chapter.
