Body Self-diagnosis
Ultrasonic interior monitoring self-diagnosis
Initiating self-diagnosis of the interior monitoring

Test requirements:

  • ◆ Check fuse using current flow diagram.
  • ◆ Connecting fault reader V.A.G 1551=>Page 01-1.
  • ◆ Anti-theft alarm not activated.

Notes:

  • ◆ If the display remains blank, check voltage supply to V.A.G 1551 according to current flow diagram.
  • ◆ Additional operating instructions can be called up with the fault reader HELP key.
  • ◆ The ⇒ key is used for the continuation of the program sequence.
  • ◆ If an incorrect entry is made, press Ckey to escape.
  • ‒ Switch ignition on.
  • ‒ Switch on printer with the Print key (indicator lamp in key illuminates).
  • ‒ Press key 1 for "Rapid data transfer" mode.
 
→ Indicated on display:
Rapid data transfer     HELP
Enter address word XX

Address word for interior monitoring: 45

  • ‒ Press keys -4- and -5-.
 
→ Indicated on display:
Rapid data transfer     Q
45 - Interior monitoring
  • ‒ Confirm input with Q key.
 
→ After about 5 seconds, the following appears on the display:
8Z0951177 Interior monitoring     D03 ⇒
Code 00001    WSC 06812
  • ‒ Press ⇒key.

Press HELP key to obtain a printout of available functions.
