Removing side window (rear)
  WARNING
When removing window glass, ALWAYS wear protective goggles and leather gloves.
   
Removing undamaged window
–  Mask area all around edges of window with fabric-backed adhesive tape -1- to prevent damage to paintwork.
–  To improve access to the window, first carefully remove the trim surrounding the window using a blade.
–  Insert protective foil - Audi A2 side windows -V.A.G 1474/16- between window flange and trim parts (working from inside).
–  Use electric cutter -V.A.G 1561 A- and blade (U-shaped) -V.A.G 1561/3- to first cut along bottom edge of window.
–  Adhesive tape -1- affixed as shown to prevent damage to paintwork.

–  Cut along rear edge of window.

–  Then cut along top edge of window.

–  Cut from top to bottom on C-pillar to cut out complete window and remove window from window flange.
Removing damaged window
–  When removing a damaged side window, follow the procedure for removing a damaged REAR window → Anchor.
