Removing and installing gear knob and boot
Removing and installing gear knob and boot
   
Removing
–  Give the sleeve -2- a 90° turn in -direction of arrow- as far as it will go and then lift off the gear knob -1- together with the sleeve.
l  The gear knob and sleeve can then be pulled apart.

–  Lift the trim ring -1- off the centre console.
–  Press the retainer tabs -2- outwards and lift out the cover -3-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Insert the cover -3- at the bottom -arrows- and then engage at the top -Item 2-.
