Removing and installing mount and symbol panel

Removing
–  Remove selector mechanism → Chapter.
–  Give the sleeve -2- a 90° turn in -direction of arrow- as far as it will go and then lift off the gear knob -1- together with the sleeve.

–  Unplug connectors -1- and -2- and move wiring clear.

–  Release the mount on both sides -arrows- and lift it off.
  A34-0482
–  Press the retainer tabs -A- outwards and lift out the cover -B- with the symbol panel.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Insert the cover -B- at the bottom -arrows- and then engage at the top -Item A-.
