Erasing fault memory
Erasing fault memory
  Note
If fault memory cannot be erased, interrogate fault memory again and eliminate fault.
Requirements
l  Fault memory interrogated → Chapter.
l  All faults eliminated.
   
After fault memory interrogation:
Display on -VAS 5051 A-:
–  From list -1- select diagnostic function “05 - Erase fault memory”.
  A01-0122
Display on -VAS 5051 A-:
  A87-0320
-1-No display (before deleting)
 or
 Fault memory erased

  Note
If in display zone -1- the message: “Fault memory has not been interrogated yet” appears, the procedure has not been followed exactly. Fault memory cannot be erased until it has been interrogated.
   
-2-Note: Is function to be implemented? Note: Data will be erased!

–  Touch OK key in display -2-.
–  End diagnostic function “05 - Erase fault memory” by touching ← key.
