Removing and installing coolant pump
Removing and installing coolant pump
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208-
  W00-10228
Removing
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove main drive toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove bolt -arrow- and detach idler roller -1-.
  A15-10581
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and remove rear cover -1- for toothed belt.
–  Place drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208- beneath engine.
–  Detach coolant pump.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install idler roller for main drive toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Install main drive toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Fill up with coolant → Anchor.
