Removing and installing oil level and oil temperature sender -G266-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782-
  W00-10211
Removing
–  Release fasteners -arrows- and remove noise insulation.
–  Place used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782- under engine and drain engine oil.

–  Unplug electrical connector -3-.
–  Remove bolt -1- and detach oil level and oil temperature sender -G266--item 4-.
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew seal -2-.
–  Fill up with engine oil and check engine oil level → Booklet809.
–  Install noise insulation → Rep. gr.50.
