Pressing lever -80 - 200-
t
Hose clamp fitting tool -V.A.G 1921-
Removing
–
Wash and rub dry the outside of the bonnet.
–
Release the service flap from inside.
–
Release the bonnet
-arrows-
and pull it forwards slightly.
–
Fit the protective cover -VAS 6011- over the bonnet.
Note
Do not stand the bonnet on end.
–
Detach the bonnet and set it down on the protective cover -VAS 6011-.
–
Remove the left wheel housing liner
→ Rep. Gr.66
.

Pull the flexible pipe of the filler neck

out of the washer fluid reservoir
-4-
at the location marked
-A-
.
–
Press off the hose holders
-2-
with the pressing-off lever -80 - 200-.
Note

Ignore
-item 3-

Use silicone-free lubricant spray to facilitate removal if necessary.
–
Swivel the filler neck for the washer fluid reservoir forwards
-arrow-
.
–
Press the pins of the expanding clips
-1-
and
-2-
towards the engine compartment.
–
Remove the filler neck for the washer fluid reservoir together with the flexible pipe.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
–
Fit the left wheel housing liner
→ Rep. Gr.66
