Login procedure

Notes:

  • ◆ The PIN number must be established on the basis of the 14-position identification number of the immobilizer/engine control unit by way of direct system interrogation (as for direct interrogation of radio code). It is also possible to find out the PIN number from the appropriate Regional Sales Centre or importer.
  • ◆ Three incorrect PIN number entries disable the immobilizer/engine control unit.
  • ◆ A futher attempt can only be made after 10 minutes (ignition is to be left permanently switched on during this period and exit from self-diagnosis mode effected by way of function 06 "End output"). Time is doubled up to max. 255 minutes after every 3 further incorrect attempts.

  • ‒ Enter PIN number with a 0 before the 4-digit number (e.g. 01915).

Note:

Once login procedure has been successfully completed, lamp lights continuously and immobilizer is released:

  • ◆ As long as engine is running and ignition key remains in lock
  • ◆ For 45 min. if ignition key remains in lock (engine not running)
  • ◆ For 5 min. if ignition key is removed
