Refrigerant: Capacity Specifications

Refrigerant R134a Capacities 

NOTE: 

-

When charging the high-pressure side of refrigerant circuits, always fill to the upper tolerance limit (some liquid refrigerant remains in the
charging hoses).

For compressor assignment ("Zexel", "Sanden" or "Denso/Nippondenso"), refer to Parts List and Heating, air conditioning or Air conditioning.

NOTE:  Refrigerant circuits converted from R12 to R134a are to be filled with the quantity indicated in the "Air conditioner with refrigerant R12".

NOTE:

Exclusive use was made at the start of production of "Sanden" compressors. As of model year 1999, use was also made of "Zexel" compressors
Heating, air conditioning and Parts Catalog.

If no condenser with a flat pipe width of 20 mm is available for Audi A3 as a replacement part, an a condenser with a flat pipe width of 16 mm is
installed, only 650 ± 20 g of refrigerant instead of 750 + 50 g may be filled in. In addition, capacity specification must be changed accordingly on
