Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamps Up to 25 mm Diameter. (3094)

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (VAS 6340)

Removing

CAUTION!
Observe procedures for disconnecting battery.

Move driver seat toward the rear.

-

With ignition switched off, disconnect Battery Ground (GND) cable -  arrow -.

-

Remove battery. 

Vehicles with an air filter housing in front of the battery 

-

Remove the entire air filter housing. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing
