Removing and Installing

Base support cover

Removing
-

Remove drivers side storage compartment.

-

Remove lower A-pillar trim.

-

Remove bolt - 7 -.

-

Slide base support cover upward until tab - 6 - disengages from base support bracket window - 3 -.

-

Remove base support cover.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

Ensure tabs - 6 - engage correctly in base support bracket recess - 3 -.

Removing
-

Remove steering column universal joint cover.

-

Remove base support cover - 1 -.

-

Remove sill panel trim.

-

Peel floor covering back in base support area.

-

Remove nuts - 5 - (qty. 3).

-

Remove base support bracket - 3 -.
