Removing

• ‒ → Pull dipstick -1- out of guide tube.
• ‒ Unclip caps.
• ‒ Unfasten nuts -arrows- and detach engine cover.
• ‒ Re-insert dipstick in guide tube.

• ‒ → Detach air hose -1- at air pipe.
• ‒ Unplug connector for air-mass meter -3-.
• ‒ Screw out bolts -4- and -5-.
• ‒ Disconnect breather hose -2- on back of air cleaner housing.
• ‒ Take out air cleaner housing.

• ‒ Pull vacuum hose off vacuum reservoir.

• ‒ → If fitted, unscrew holder for vacuum hose from bolts -2- and -3-.
• ‒ Detach vacuum hose -arrow- to brake servo.
• ‒ Screw out bolts 1... 3 and detach vacuum pump.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Replace gasket.

Tightening torques
