1 - Gear knob
q   Remove and install together with gear lever boot → Chapter
2 - Boot with mounting frame
q   Remove and install together with gear knob → Chapter
q   Separating from gear knob → Fig.
q   Connect to gear knob before installing → Fig.
3 - Retaining clips
4 - Connecting piece
q   Connects boot with gear knob
q   Removing → Fig.
5 - Clip
q   For securing gear knob to gear lever

   
Detaching boot from gear knob and assembling
–  Turn boot inside out.
–  Using a screwdriver, lever the prongs -bottom arrows- on the connecting piece outwards and detach connecting piece from gear lever.
–  Detach gear knob from boot.
Assembly is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Turn boot inside out.
–  Insert gear knob in boot.
–  Press connecting piece onto gear knob and boot unit so that it snaps into place on gear knob.
