Removing and installing gearbox oil temperature sender (ATF)G93 with wiring harness
Removing and installing gearbox oil temperature sender (ATF) -G93- with wiring harness
The gearbox oil temperature sender -G93- cannot be separated from the wiring harness.
Removing
–  Remove valve body → Chapter.
   
–  Unbolt torque converter housing → Chapter.

–  Take out axial needle bearing -B- and differential -A-.
  Note
-Items 1 and C- can be disregarded.
–  Remove ATF strainer.
  N37-10281
–  Unplug connectors from senders -1- and -2-.
–  Unbolt retainer -4--top arrow-.
–  Unbolt gearbox oil temperature sender -G93--3--bottom arrow-.
–  Turn gearbox so that housing cover for planetary gearing faces upwards.
–  Unbolt housing cover → Chapter.
  Caution
Risk of damage to gearbox components.
Do not turn back gearbox before housing cover has been reinstalled. Otherwise, clutch „K2/K3“ and other components will fall out.

Unplug connector from gearbox input speed sender -G182--1-.
–  Unbolt gearbox input speed sender-arrows- and remove.
–  Remove gearbox oil temperature sender -G93- with wiring harness downwards.
Installing
–  Guide wiring harness for gearbox input speed sender -G182- through gearbox housing from below.
–  Attach connector to gearbox input speed sender and install sender. Tighten bolts to 8 Nm.
–  Install housing cover for planetary gearing → Anchor.
–  Turn gearbox so that housing cover faces downwards.

–  Install gearbox oil temperature sender -G93--3- and tighten bolt -bottom arrow- to 8 Nm.
–  Attach connectors for vehicle speed sender -G68--1- and intermediate shaft speed sender -G265--2-.
–  Install wiring harness retainer -4- and tighten bolt -top arrow- to 8 Nm.
–  Guide wiring harness into aperture for valve body.
–  Install ATF strainer.
–  Install valve body → Chapter.
