Special tools and workshop equipment required

  • ◆ Counterhold VW 558
 
V30-0025

Removing

  • ● Flywheel removed.
  • ‒ → Insert counterhold VW 558 into hole in cylinder block and bolt onto pressure plate.
  • ‒ Mark pressure plate with respect to engine.
  • ‒ Remove the pressure plate.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

  • ‒ Only use new bolts to secure.
