Electrical check of ABS/EDL/TCS/ESP ITT  MARK 20
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Hand-held multimeter -V.A.G 1526 B- or vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051 A- with test leads -VAS 5051 A/7-
t  Adapter set -V.A.G 1594 C-
t  Test box -V.A.G 1598 A-
t  Adapter cable (47-pin) -V.A.G 1598/33-

The test steps can be used:
t  For vehicles on which the self diagnosis does not give any indication of the source of the fault. Work through the complete electrical check.
t  For vehicles on which the self diagnosis provides a direct indication of the source of the fault. Only carry out the test steps recommended in the fault table (to trace a specific fault).
Requirements
l  Voltage supply of vehicle OK.
l  Fuses OK → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
l  Earth connections checked for corrosion and loose contact → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
l  All electrical consumers switched off.
