Test requirements:
l  Vehicle model, track width and tyre type displays must coincide with actual situation.
l  Calibration values from test drive must be available, i.e. test drive must have been performed beforehand.
–  Select menu item “PARAMETERS” with Cursor keys.
Indicated on display:

In the event of a fault, i.e. displayed track width does not coincide with vehicle model (deviations > 1%):
Possible track widths ⇒ Track width table → Chapter
–  Perform wheel calibration → Chapter.
For special tyre types select menu item “SPECIAL” → Chapter.
  Note!
t  The circumference of new tyres is subject to a tolerance of roughly ± 1 % and is adapted to the greatest possible extent during navigation system operation.
t  Deviations from specified new tyre circumferences are therefore normal and reflect the adaption process.
t  Major deviations between indicated tyre circumference and normal circumferences only occur in the case of serious miscalibration (driving over an incorrectly entered distance). The tyre circumference should only be corrected by means of wheel calibration in the above situation or if customers report constant distance discrepancies. For typical tyre circumferences, refer to → Chapter.
