Removing and installing brake servo vacuum senderG483. Vehicles with optimised hydraulic brake assistance/vacuum sender (OHBV) only
Removing and installing brake servo vacuum sender -G483-. Vehicles with optimised hydraulic brake assistance/vacuum sender (OHBV) only
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051 x - or -VAS 5052-
  Note
t  Brake servo vacuum sender -G483- does not have to be calibrated after renewal.
t  The "Guided Fault Finding" contains a description of the electrical check.
Removing
   
–  Remove battery. → Rep. gr.27
–  Remove battery tray -arrows-.
  A10-1572
–  Detach electrical connector -1-.
  A45-10004
–  Pull out retaining clip -1- and pull sender G483 -2- out of brake servo.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
