Installing > < Removing and installing metering pump V54

Removing
Removing
–  Switch off ignition.
   
–  Remove cover beneath fuel filter (not fitted on all vehicles).
–  Unplug connector -A- from metering pump -V54--B-.
–  Remove metering pump -V54--B- from bracket -C-.
–  Unfasten clips -D-.
–  Detach fuel pipe -E-.
–  Seal fuel pipe -E-.
–  Detach fuel pipe -F-.
–  Seal fuel pipe -F-.
  Note
The bracket -C- is engaged in a mounting which is attached to the fuel tank; the bracket can be renewed separately → Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr. 20; Fuel supply system or → Fuel supply system; Rep. Gr. 20.
