| As of Model Year 2010 a start/stop system will be available as an optional extra for this vehicle in conjunction with certain engines. On vehicles with a heater only (no „air conditioner“ optional extra) the heater control unit -J65- has no effect on the start/stop function. On vehicles with a manually controlled air conditioner, the stop function may be inhibited or the engine re-started as soon as heating is requested depending on the setting on the air conditioning system control unit -J301- (e.g. in heating mode). In cooling mode there is no restriction of the stop function by way of -J301- → "Guided fault-finding" function of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051. |
