Removing and installing over-centre spring > < Function check for clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder

1 - Pipe/hose assembly
q   With frequency modulator
q   Disconnecting from clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder → Fig.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Seal or O-ring
q   Renew damaged seals or O-rings
q   Push onto pipe connection
q   Lubricate with brake fluid before installing
q   Whether a seal or an O-ring is used depends on the type of connection → Fig.
q   For correct version, refer to → Electronic parts catalogue
3 - Clip
4 - Supply hose
q   To brake fluid reservoir
q   Made of rubber or plastic, depending on version
q   Plastic supply hose with additional seals → Fig.
5 - Nut
q   20 Nm
q   3x
q   Self-locking
q   Renew
6 - Seal
q   Renew
7 - Mounting bracket
q   For clutch pedal
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
8 - Bolt
9 - Bearing bush
10 - Pivot pin
11 - Clutch pedal
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
12 - Bearing bush
13 - Nut
q   25 Nm
q   Self-locking
q   Renew
14 - Retaining clip
q   For operating rod on clutch master cylinder
15 - Over-centre spring
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
16 - Seal
q   Renew
17 - Clutch master cylinder
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
18 - Clutch position sender -G476-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Can be checked in „Guided fault finding“ using → vehicle diagnostic tester

   
Crash bar - tightening torque
–  Install crash bar -2- and tighten 1 or 2 bolts (depending on version) -arrows B-.
