Removing and installing filter

Removing

–	Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.

–	Unscrew nuts -arrows- and detach heat shield -1-.

–	Remove nut -3-.

Note

Nut -3- is accessible from above.

–	Remove noise insulation -1- → Rep. gr.50.

–	Detach clamp -2-, unscrew bolts -1- and take out filter.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

l	Tightening torques → Chapter „Exhaust gas recirculation with exhaust gas recirculation cooler - exploded view“

–	Install noise insulation → Rep. gr.50.
