Removing
  Note
Before removing, mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt with chalk or felt-tipped pen. If the belt runs in the opposite direction when it is refitted, this can cause breakage.
–  Turn tensioner in direction of -arrow- to slacken poly V-belt and lock in position with locking pin -T10060 A-.
–  Remove poly V-belt from alternator pulley.

–  Remove centre noise insulation -fasteners 1 ... 3-.

–  Remove noise insulation (right-side) -fasteners 1 ... 3-.
–  Remove poly V-belt from remaining pulleys.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Before fitting the poly V-belt ensure that all mechanical units (alternator, air conditioner compressor) are tightened.
–  Fit poly V-belt as follows:
1 - Idler roller
2 - Vibration damper
3 - Coolant pump
4 - Tensioning roller
5 - Alternator
6 - Idler roller
7 - Air conditioner compressor

–  Hold tensioner with ring spanner, remove locking pin -T10060 A- or Allen key and release tensioner.
–  Check poly V-belt for proper seating.
–  Start engine and check that belt runs properly.
