| If large quantities of metal shavings or abrasion are found when performing engine repairs, this may be an indication of damage to the crankshaft or conrod bearings. To prevent further damage, the following procedures must be carried out after completion of repair work: the oil galleries must be carefully cleaned and renew the oil spray jets, oil cooler and oil filter. |
