Automatic Headlamp Range Control Module

Component location: At front of instrument panel carrier in driver side footwell

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided
Functions".

-

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of VAS 5051B .

-

Remove the driver storage compartment.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

-

Remove screws - 3 - and - 4 - and remove Headlamp Range Control Module J431 - item 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

If Headlamp Range Control Module J431 was replaced, it must be re-coded.

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of VAS 5051B .

-

Install the driver storage compartment.
