Steering Column Cover: Service and Repair
Gap Cover

Removing

Remove gap cover - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.

Carefully pry gap cover - 2 - from upper steering column trim - 3 - using a small flathead screwdriver.
Note: Disregard - 1 - and - 4 -.
Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

The gap cover must audibly engage in upper steering column trim.
